Next week marks the official one-year anniversary since we took the EXCHANGE live. In the spirit of Thanksgiving, I thought I would share with you today just a few of the things I am grateful to have learned and experienced over this past year.
I know this might sound cheesy, but I really am grateful for everything, even the stressful stuff, for REEL! Why? Because all of it, the good and the challenging, have been experiences that deepened my strength, knowledge, and dedication to what it is we do here at the Exchange.
I’m so grateful for the work we’ve been putting in over this past year, and that everybody I work with is so special in their own way and has something unique and essential to add to the brand.
There have been so many things going on in the background in working to make the brand the best it can be that this anniversary completely snuck up on us! That’s one of the many fun parts about being an entrepreneur… living through your experiences to develop who you are now and who you are becoming and just rolling with the REEL of it all. All the sudden you’ll pause, and realize how far you’ve truly come.
This experience has also made me grateful for entrepreneurship as a whole and the opportunity to be a multifaceted entrepreneur, answering a call to action when I feel like my community needed something. This and sought out and accepted opportunities have all added to the series of events that lead me to this very moment.
The Madison location joining our team is so Devine, unexpected and simple. I know these words may not even typically go together, but that is exactly how it feels. They are amazingly talented women, some that I have known for a very long time, and I am beyond grateful they are now working with us side by side. It’s exciting to go through this expansion right around the one year mark, which again, I totally didn’t realize went hand-in-hand until I really sat down and thought about it 🤣.
I could go on and on about the things I’ve grateful for when it comes to this part year. Finding a home in Millburn, adding the most aligned wellness products to the shop, finally publishing our catalog…It feels amazing to be in the place we are, offering what we are offering, and extended our experiences beyond the typical and into this luxury, boutique, hyper-personal, beauty and wellness experience.
With all of life this said, I know none of this would be possible without YOU. There has been so much love, excitement, and support around this brand from day one and I recognize that without YOU, we would not be where we are today. So to you, I say THANK YOU. I can’t wait to see what the next year brings. I hope you continue to join me on the journey ❤️
